Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software is normally thought of at the college level. Ever think a Kindergartener could CAD? Think again!

Kids can CAD is a program helping children discover and develop a passion for science, technology, engineering, art, and math (STEAM) our After-School and Summer Camp programs that teach children 21st-century skills, like 3D CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and 3D Printing Technology, needed to meet workforce demand.

Their hands-on classes offer an introduction to the fundamentals of design for K-8 students. Students work on age-appropriate projects and learn how to use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to design just about anything they can imagine.

Students create 3D designs using various kid-friendly computer software. Once they complete their designs, they bring them to life using 3D printers. The last part is the competition. Students get to compete and test their designs!
